Naturopathy

What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health that involves the major complementary therapies of Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Homoeopathy, Flower essence therapy, Iridology and Massage. The aim is to bring the body into balance and optimum health. This is achieved through treating the underlying cause of the disease and treating the body as a whole.

Am I out of balance?

You need not be ill to be out of balance. Poor diet, trauma, environmental pollutants, shock, chronic illness and injury all take their toll on our health. Naturopathy helps to put the body back into balance to create a healthier, more energised you. Each treatment is tailored to each individual using the above therapies.

A Naturopathic Consultation

This consultation is about you. All aspects of your health will be assessed along with any medication you may be taking. Naturopathy is a holistic approach, so you will be asked questions about your current and past health, dietary habits, your home and work environments, energy levels, sleep patterns and stress levels.

If tests need to be conducted, these can be done by your Naturopath or through working closely with your own doctor.

Is Naturopathy safe?

Naturopathy is very safe for people of all ages. You are under the care of a qualified practitioner who monitors your health and progress through regular check-ups and return visits. The side effects are minimal and the benefits are often more than you may expect.
