Dorothy Lonie

Dorothy Lonie has been practising as a Registered Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy since 1995. She qualified in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy in 1998 and became a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (Senior Clinician) in 2002. She is also a graduate member of the British Psychological Society. She qualified in the field of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) in 1998 and in 2001 went on to qualify in NHP (Neuro-Hypnotic Repatterning) under the tuition of NLP originator Dr. Richard Bandler. She feels that her qualifications in NLP and NHP have enhanced her ability to teach others the road to freedom and personal success. She has also become a full regulated member of the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists.

Dorothy uses the unconscious mind as a source of wealth to enable a person to progress through life. Using therapeutic techniques to promote health and wellbeing, she sees life as a journey and an adventure.

Dorothy feels that having an Honours Degree in Psychology, combined with her qualifications in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, enables her to help others on their journey through life. In short, she helps people to help themselves. Dorothy specialises in treating people with phobias, anxiety and stress and in helping those who desire to stop smoking.
